Job Title: Civil Engineer (Roads & Bridges)

Job Summary: Seeking a Saudi National Civil Engineer to supervise and execute construction works for road and bridge projects under the Ministry of Transport & Logistics (MOT). The role combines site supervision, technical coordination, quality control, and liaison with MOT stakeholders to ensure timely, safe and compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspect execution of road and bridge construction activities on site.
• Ensure works comply with contract documents, MOT specifications, Saudi codes and project drawings.
• Coordinate with MOT representatives, subcontractors, consultants and supply chain.
• Conduct quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) inspections and prepare non-conformance reports.
• Monitor progress, prepare daily/weekly site reports and update project schedules.
• Review shop drawings, method statements and material submittals; approve as appropriate.
• Oversee health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and resolve construction/site engineering issues.
• Participate in site meetings, prepare punch lists and support commissioning/hand-over activities.
• Maintain site records, as-built documentation and progress documentation required by MOT and project management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience, including at least 2 years in road and bridge construction works.
• Registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers, holding the "Associate Engineer" grade.
• Proven experience working on projects supervised by Ministry of Transport & Logistics or similar government authorities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of road and bridge construction methods, materials and inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with MOT standards, Saudi building codes and international best practices.
• Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MS Office; experience with project scheduling tools (Primavera/MS Project) is an advantage.
• Good reporting, documentation and record-keeping skills.
