Job summary

Duncan & Ross in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced Civil 3D Modeler – Dry Utilities to lead BIM modeling of electrical, telecom, ICT, street lighting, and utility corridors.

You will create 3D models, prepare alignments, layouts, and drawings, and coordinate with roads, structures, wet utilities, and landscape disciplines. The role requires a degree in civil engineering and at least 3 years in dry utilities BIM, with strong English and teamwork across mega projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in dry utilities BIM modeling.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, telecom, ICT, and street lighting utility systems.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is mandatory.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM workflows.
• Ability to interpret utility design drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with infrastructure coordination and utility authority standards.
• Experience in infrastructure and mega projects is highly preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good command of English language.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D BIM models for dry utility networks using Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Prepare utility alignments, duct bank layouts, profiles, and construction drawings.
• Coordinate dry utility models with roads, structures, wet utilities, and landscape disciplines.
• Produce 2D drawings, shop drawings, and detailed BIM deliverables.
• Perform clash detection and model coordination activities using Navisworks or similar software.
• Support quantity extraction and preparation of utility coordination drawings.
• Ensure compliance with BEP, company standards, and project requirements.
• Update and revise BIM models during design and construction phases.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of BIM deliverables and coordination reports.
• Support engineering teams with technical drafting and modeling requirements.

We are looking for an experienced Civil 3D Modeler – Dry Utilities to join major infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and coordinating BIM models related to dry utility systems including electrical, telecom, ICT, street lighting, and utility corridors while ensuring compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.
