A Top Fit Out Contractor in Saudi Arabia seeks a Chief Financial Officer to manage corporate financial functions. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of senior management experience in the construction industry and demonstrate expertise in UKEF financing structures. This role is central to maintaining strong banking relationships and ensuring rigorous financial governance in a dynamic sector.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years’ senior financial management experience in construction or a similar project-based industry.
  • Proven expertise in UKEF and SACE financing structures, including direct lending and guarantees.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end corporate financial management, including accounting and treasury.
  • Lead preparation, consolidation, and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic planning and investment evaluations.
  • Manage liquidity and cash flow, maintaining strong banking relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, withholding tax, and other financial obligations.
  • Lead export credit financing arrangements, including structuring and negotiations.
  • Establish financial governance and internal controls to ensure compliance.

NOW HIRING A CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER - FITOUT

Our client is a Top Fit Out Contractor based in, Saudi and has a diverse portfolio across various sectors such as Residential, hospitality and commercial projects, and are involved in some of the most exciting projects KSA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end corporate financial management, including accounting, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, and long-range financial planning.
  • Lead the preparation, consolidation, and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and key financial ratios.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic planning, board decisions, and investment evaluations.
  • Manage liquidity, cash flow, and treasury operations, maintaining strong banking relationships to optimise funding, facilities, and financial terms.
  • Ensure timely and accurate compliance with VAT, withholding tax, ZATCA, and statutory financial obligations.
  • Lead and manage export credit financing arrangements (UKEF & SACE), including structuring, negotiations, lender coordination, compliance, drawdowns, and repayment monitoring.
  • Establish and enforce robust financial governance and internal controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and integrity of financial systems and records.
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years’ senior financial management experience in construction or a similar project-based industry
  • Proven expertise in UKEF and SACE financing structures, including direct lending, guarantees, buyer and supplier credit schemes.
