Job summary

The Financeer is seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to lead accounting operations and financial reporting in Saudi Arabia. The role requires expertise in general ledger management, month-end and year-end closing, and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in accounting, IFRS knowledge, VAT/Zakat/ZATCA familiarity, and fluency in English. Senior leadership experience and ERP proficiency are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience
• Strong experience in accounting operations, general ledger, and month-end/year-end closing
• Knowledge of financial statements, reconciliations, and internal controls
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis skills
• Understanding of IFRS and accounting standards
• Knowledge of VAT, Zakat, and ZATCA requirements
• Professional certifications (SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred)
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities
