Job summary

Qureos in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Chief Accountant with a strong background in accounting and financial management, preferably in beverages, food production, F&B, or food manufacturing. The role oversees daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance.

This senior position requires 5+ years of experience, a relevant degree, and expertise in VAT, ZATCA, ERP systems and Excel. You will lead the accounting team, coordinate with auditors and banks, and drive cost control.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience in beverages, food production, F&B, or food manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, inventory accounting and cost control.
• Good understanding of Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.
• Experience with ERP and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including GL, AP, and AR.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, cash flow, and cost control.
• Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, and COGS.
• Ensure Saudi VAT and ZATCA compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Supervise the accounting team and improve financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Oversee bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing.

• Monitor budgets, expenses, cash flow, and cost control.

• Manage inventory accounting, stock valuation, and cost of goods sold.

• Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT, ZATCA requirements, and applicable accounting standards.

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal departments.

• Supervise the accounting team and improve financial processes.
