A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Chief Accountant Acting CFO in Riyadh with at least 15 years of experience. The candidate will manage financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting, ensuring compliance with Saudi tax laws. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements following IFRS, managing a team of accountants, and coordinating with auditors. The ideal candidate should have a professional accounting certificate (DipIFR or CMA preferred), strong ERP skills, and be aged between 35 and 40.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in financial operations, accounting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Saudi tax regulations (VAT, Zakat).
• Experience in managing financial reporting complying with IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and reports according to IFRS.
• Review VAT and Zakat returns for compliance with Saudi laws.

Our client in IndustryAppliances wholesale and Retail We are seeking Chief Accountant Acting CFO with experience 15 years at least to lead our financial operations. The candidate will responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, financial management, cost accounting, banking facilities, and Saudi tax regulations (VAT, Zakat)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, financial reporting complying with IFRS.
• Prepare and review VAT and Zakat returns, ensuring full compliance with Saudi tax laws.
• Ability to provide weekly, monthly and periodic reports on company and cash status.
• Perform monthly closing activities and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reports for management review.
• Implement and manage cost accounting systems.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely and accurate issuance of financial statements and audit reports.
• The role will also involve managing a team of accountants and collaborating with other departments.

This position reports directly to the CEO and plays a key role in shaping the company’s financial strategy.
