Key Responsibility
- Perform carpentry-related maintenance tasks including installation, repair, and replacement of doors, partitions, shelving, cabinetry, and other wood fixtures.
- Execute basic painting and wall preparation tasks including surface priming, patching, and finish coating as required.
- Carry out tile installation and repair work, ensuring alignment, leveling, and adherence to brand and safety standards.
- Assess assigned maintenance scope and recommend cost-effective material and construction solutions.
- Carry out tasks as per project schedule, ensuring all work complies with company standards and safety procedures.
- Respond promptly to urgent repair calls and resolve carpentry, painting, or tiling-related issues efficiently.
- Source or request required materials in advance to ensure uninterrupted execution of work.
- Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of carpentry tools, painting supplies, and tile equipment.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and blueprints accurately.
- Maintain accurate records of materials used and completed work for reporting purposes.
- Coordinate with supervisors, electricians, masons, and other maintenance staff to support integrated project delivery.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, supervisors, and team members when necessary.
Desired Experience
- 2–5 years of proven carpentry experience in commercial, retail, or facility maintenance environments.
- Proficiency in operating carpentry tools such as saws, drills, chisels, and measuring instruments.
- Strong understanding of wooden fixture installation, finishing techniques, and construction safety protocols.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
