JOB PURPOSE

The Business Development Manager – Construction is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new construction projects across the KSA. The role focuses on client acquisition, tendering, contract negotiation, and strategic partnerships while coordinating with estimation, technical, and project teams to achieve sustainable revenue growth.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, and contractors.
  • Develop sales strategies to achieve annual revenue and growth targets.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.

Tendering & Proposal Management

  • Identify and participate in tenders, RFQs, and RFPs.
  • Coordinate with estimation and technical teams to prepare competitive bids and proposals.
  • Ensure timely submission of tenders in compliance with client and consultant requirements.
  • Support contract negotiations and project award processes.

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor construction market trends, upcoming projects, and competitor activities.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to management.
  • Expand company presence in new sectors, regions, or services.

Client Relationship & Account Management

  • Maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
  • Manage key accounts and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Represent the company in meetings, events, and industry forums.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate project handover from sales to execution teams.
  • Follow up on variations, invoices, and payments with clients.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports and forecasts.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration.
  • 5–10 years KSA experience in construction business development.
  • Strong knowledge of KSA construction market, consultants, and tendering processes.
  • Proven track record of securing construction projects.
  • KSA driving license preferred.
