Role Description

As a Business Development Manager you will formulate and execute a business development strategy that drives revenue growth and new customer acquisition. You will ensure that ClearSkies products are seen as the right choice over competitors and focus on client success through collaboration and trusted relationships.

Main Responsibilities
Strategy Implementation & Planning
  • Implement strategy and planning based on targets agreed with management, in the area of operations.
  • Report regularly on target achievement and relevant actions taken to line manager.
  • Target and monitor customers per channel partner.
Business Development
  • Own business‑related matters: recruitment of channel partners, proposal submission, new opportunity identification, pipeline follow‑up, and revenue tracking.
  • Recommend marketing activities and events, within the region(s) of responsibility.
  • Present Odyssey's services to potential channel partners.
  • Prepare cooperation agreements and contract signings with channel partners.
  • Seek market opportunities and coordinate with channel partners to pursue and materialise them.
  • Visit, motivate, and monitor channel partner performance.
  • Oversee implementation of operational procedures by partner organisations.
  • Monitor and report market trends, customer requirements and competition behaviour.
Support
  • Support channel partners during presentations and aid in scope‑of‑work understanding.
  • Know Odyssey's services and sott organise coaching and training to improve partners' skills and capacity in coordination with internal resources.
  • Train partners on quotation preparation and procedure application.
  • Report KPIs based on contracts won, proposals submitted, partners recruited, pipeline, and collections.
  • Problem‑solve for end‑customers and channel partners.
Other Responsibilities
  • Act in Odyssey's best interests.
  • Maintain professionalism while strengthening Odyssey’s reputation.
  • Attend and participate in periodic meetings to support above activities.
  • Execute other role‑related tasks assigned by Odyssey.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
  • 3+ years in business development, sales or consultancy within IT or Cyber Security.
  • Proven track record in sales achievement and establishing new business.
  • Experience with Cyber Security products such as Firewalls, WAF, Endpoint Protection, SIEM, MSS/SOC, NOC.
  • Track record in prospecting, qualifying and engaging potential partners and clients.
  • Account planning and handling experience.
  • Solid understanding of software development and overall technology.
  • Extensive relationships in the Information Security community within the assigned region.
  • Strong technical and non‑technical communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills to executives and individual contributors.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction under tight deadlines.
