Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead requirements discovery and translate business needs into user stories for an on-premises Data Lakehouse project on Cloudera CDP 7.3.1. You will ensure alignment with SAMA, facilitate stakeholder interviews, and support UAT and data validation.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills, with experience across retail and corporate banking domains and data governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proven Business Analysis experience in banking/FS sectors.
• Ability to translate business needs into user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Proficient in SQL for data validation and reconciliation.
• Experience with Agile SDLC and Jira/Confluence for backlog management.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery and stakeholder interviews across banking domains.
• Translate requirements into BRDs/FRDs and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Manage product backlog and ensure alignment with Medallion and Lambda architectures.

Discovery & RequirementsLead KT sessions and stakeholder interviews across banking, risk, compliance, and operations teams.Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.Prepare BRDs, FRDs, data contracts, and source-to-target mappings.B. Backlog & User StoriesTranslate requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria and traceability.Manage and prioritize the product backlog while controlling scope changes.Ensure alignment with Medallion, Lambda, and data governance frameworks.C. Banking Domain & ComplianceProvide expertise across retail and corporate banking domains.Ensure compliance with SAMA regulations, data governance, and audit requirements.D. Stakeholder CollaborationCollaborate with architects, data modelers, and development teams to align business and technical needs.Facilitate workshops, drive decisions, and manage stakeholder expectations.E. Testing & ValidationSupport test planning, UAT execution, and acceptance validation.Perform data validation and reconciliation using SQL.F.
