Job summary

ALEC FITOUT, the interiors division of ALEC Holdings PJSC, invites a skilled BIM Modeler to join its team in Riyadh. You will work under the BIM Coordinator, creating detailed 3D models in Revit, performing clash detection, and supporting design and construction through accurate documentation.

This role requires 3+ years BIM experience, ISO 19650 awareness, and a proactive, collaborative approach in a fast-paced, high-profile projects environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BIM modeling within construction or engineering environments.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit; familiar with Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows and ISO 19650 standards.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and generate accurate documentation.
• Detail-oriented with good teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Review Tender and IFC information models (2D drawings, BIM models, and asset data) in line with ISO 19650.
• Model design documents and details using Revit and extract plans, sections, elevations, and schedules.
• Modify and maintain well-structured BIM models following industry best practices.
• Assist in converting 2D CAD or construction documents into intelligent 3D models.
• Perform clash detection and support coordination across disciplines.
• Ensure model QA/QC and support coordination teams during design and construction phases.
• Support document creation and management for as-built modeling and handover.
• Maintain templates, content libraries, and ensure project standards are followed.
• Update models based on RFIs, design changes, and engineer instructions.
• Identify discrepancies in contract documents and notify the relevant team members.
• Provide timely and accurate data to the BIM Coordinator and project team.
• Pass completed work to the document controller for proper filing and issue.

We are looking for highly motivated and experienced BIM Modeler to join our team.

Position Overview

Reporting to the BIM Coordinator, you’ll work alongside a talented team of BIM professionals, designers, and engineers, supporting project delivery with detailed 3D models and construction documentation.

Your Role

As a BIM Modeler, you will:

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or relevant field.
• Experience: 3+ years in BIM modeling within construction or engineering environments.
• Software Expertise: Proficient in Autodesk Revit; familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM tools is desirable.
• Knowledge:
• Strong understanding of BIM workflows, standards (especially ISO 19650), and model health management.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and generate accurate documentation.
• Skilled in clash detection and coordination support.
