A leading engineering firm in Saudi Arabia is seeking an MEP BIM Modeler responsible for developing accurate and coordinated 3D BIM models for MEP systems. Qualifications

• Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of building construction methods, materials, and systems.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and protocols such as COBie, IFC, and LOD.
• Ability to create and manipulate complex 3D models with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with clash detection and coordination tools.
• Proficiency in generating 3D drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems.
• Produce accurate and coordinated shop drawings extracted from the BIM models.
• Coordinate mechanical layouts with other engineering disciplines to resolve clashes.
• Support site teams with layout drawings and construction clarifications.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with the approved BIM Execution Plan and quality requirements.

Overview

The MEP BIM Modeler will be responsible for developing accurate and fully coordinated 3D BIM models for MEP systems in compliance with project BIM standards and workflows. The role supports shop drawings production, continuous model updates, and as-built documentation, while ensuring effective coordination with all engineering disciplines and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain 3D BIM models for HVAC, Firefighting, and Plumbing systems in accordance with approved designs and project requirements
• Produce accurate and coordinated shop drawings extracted from the BIM models
• Implement redline mark-ups, design changes, RFIs, and consultant comments into BIM models and drawings
• Coordinate mechanical layouts with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, and other MEP disciplines to identify and resolve clashes
• Upload, manage, and maintain model versions within the Common Data Environment (CDE) such as ACC / BIM 360
• Support site teams with layout drawings, coordination details, and construction clarifications
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with the approved BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project standards, and quality requirements
