Job summary

Euro Group Engineering Consultancy in Riyadh is seeking a Software Developer & Database Architect to design, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and dashboards for a county-wide environmental monitoring program. You will merge software development, database architecture, and systems integration to handle multi-source environmental data securely.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience building data platforms, ETL pipelines, APIs, and dashboards, with strong SQL (PostgreSQL/PostGIS)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with spatial data and geodatabases is a plus.
• 3–5 years of professional software development and database architecture experience.
• Experience building data platforms, ETL processes, APIs and dashboards for medium to large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust database architectures (relational and spatial) and data models.
• Develop backend services, APIs and ETL pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Build dashboards and visualization components for data exploration and reporting.
• Optimize application and database performance for scalability and availability.
• Implement data security, backups and recovery; ensure data confidentiality.
