Job summary

Euro Group is seeking a Software Developer & Database Architects to design, develop and maintain scalable data management platforms for environmental monitoring. You will build backend services, ETL pipelines and dashboards to process multi-source data securely and efficiently.

The role requires strong database design skills, experience with spatial data, APIs, and BI tools; collaboration with GIS specialists and data engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Design and maintain scalable data management platforms.
• Strong database design, data modeling and warehousing knowledge.
• Experience with spatial data and geodatabases is advantageous.
• Proven ability to build data platforms, ETL pipelines, APIs and dashboards for large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design robust relational and spatial database architectures.
• Develop backend services, APIs and ETL pipelines from multiple sources.
• Build dashboards and visualization components for analysis and reporting.
• Optimize performance, ensure scalability and high availability.
• Implement data security, access control and backups; ensure confidentiality.
• Follow software engineering best practices: VCS, automated tests, CI/CD and documentation.
• Collaborate with GIS, data engineers, statisticians and field teams.
• Prepare technical specs, system diagrams and deployment plans.
• Provide troubleshooting and support for production systems.
