Job summary

Creative Technology M.E (CT) seeks a fixed-term AV systems specialist for a two-year contract to support live events. You will attend sites to run shows, perform system checks, and liaise with venue staff and clients to ensure smooth operation.

You will read CAD/layout drawings, fault-find AV/IT systems, terminate cables, and work with contractors to resolve issues while maintaining safety and SOPs. The role requires independent or team-based work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Attend site and run shows as necessary
• Support system checks and servicing per O&M and OEM instructions
• Report all system defects to Venue Team Leader
• Complete and submit daily and monthly reports
• Fill weekly Timesheets
• Liaise with Systems Engineers and CT teams on faults and reporting
• Liaise with clients and FM staff for day-to-day show operations
• Ensure contract KPI’s are met in time and without breaches
• Read CAD and line drawings and fault-find AV systems
• Terminate cables and apply industry best practices
• Work with crew or independently with contractors and freelance staff
• Troubleshoot AV/IT systems remotely or on-site (networking, audio, video, lighting)
• Safely use hand/power tools
• Line manage in-house and freelance staff for projects
• Develop relationships with contractors and suppliers
• Implement and supervise Standard Operating Procedures
• Attend site inspections and meetings as required
