Job summary
Sanofi in Riyadh seeks a Medical Scientific Liaison for Autoimmune Type 1 Diabetes to build trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals and institutions. The role focuses on scientific exchange, disease understanding, and evidence-based discussions aligned with local medical plans.
The ideal candidate holds MD or Pharmacy or related postgraduate science qualifications, with experience in stakeholder engagement and a strong command of English and Arabic.
Qualifications
- MD, Pharmacy degree, or postgraduate-level science qualification.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and strategic planning within a medical or scientific field.
- Experience in AT1D or diabetes/immunology is a plus.
- Strong scientific communication; familiarity with CRM tools.
Responsibilities
- Engage with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and institutions to share balanced, high-quality scientific information on AT1D.
- Plan and facilitate local scientific meetings, hospital staff meetings, webinars, and other medical education activities.
- Develop and execute stakeholder engagement plans aligned with AT1D Medical Plan.
- Generate insights on unmet medical needs, patient identification, treatment barriers, evidence gaps.
- Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information and support investigators in IIR submissions and local advisory boards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, RWE, HEVA, Pharmacovigilance, Medical Information, Market Access, and Commercial teams.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of customer engagements through CRM tools.
