Responsibilities
- Provides inspection service for client at shop and or sites to assure compliance with internal Code Services Manual, ASME Code, National Board Inspection Code and special customer specifications.
- With minimal supervision, exercises independent judgment in assuring code compliance or compliance with customer specifications, in all instances.
- Monitors Fabricator, Installer, or Repairer’s Quality Control Program to determine adherence to that system and in turn to ASME or NBIC requirements.
- Reviews procedures and personnel qualifications for welding and nondestructive examination.
- Verifies through a review of documentation, witnessing of inspections and tests, and certification that items inspected comply with ASME Code or NBIC requirements.
- Reviews calculations, and drawings for each item inspected to assure Code compliance.
- Maintains electronic diary for inspection activities in order to document inspections performed.
- Interfaces with client’s personnel in a professional manner to develop and maintain good working relationships.
- Submits weekly time and expenses reports as per company policy.
- Accepts revision to Fabricator, Installer or Repairer’s Quality Control manual and participates in ASME, National Board, or Jurisdictional Joint Reviews.
- Verification of items for their compliance to the code requirements and certification of code items.
Role of Authorized Inspector

Authorized Inspector Profile
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Minimum 5 years in manufacturing, quality assurance and inspection background in Boiler and pressure vessel or related industry. Experience in NDE Level II or above is desired.
- Hands on work experience with ASME codes & standards and other international codes & standards.
- Willingness to take responsibility, open mindset, good communication skill in English, sales & marketing skill, and MS Office skill.
- Willingness to travel internationally for work related assignments as and when required.
- Possessing valid car driving license is desired.
- Good interpersonal skills is desired to work as a team player.
