Hilton Riyadh is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to operate and maintain the hotel’s AV equipment, ensuring flawless events and memorable guest experiences.

You will set up, monitor, and troubleshoot AV systems for meetings, banquets and weddings, coordinating with guests and hotel departments to meet technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the hotel AV equipment (sound, microphones, projectors, screens, lighting, video).
• Set up, operate, and monitor AV equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings and events.
• Troubleshoot AV issues to ensure smooth, uninterrupted events.
• Install, configure, test, and dismantle AV equipment per event requirements and schedules.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections of AV gear.
• Monitor audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems during events and adjust as needed.
• Maintain AV equipment inventory and ensure safe storage after use.
• Provide technical support to guests, organizers, and hotel departments.
• Document maintenance activities and any issues requiring further attention.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you'll do during a typical day:

• AV Equipment Operations: Operate and maintain the hotel’s audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, microphones, projectors, screens, lighting, and video equipment.
• Event & Meeting Support: Set up, operate, and monitor AV equipment for meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings, and other hotel events.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Respond promptly to AV-related issues and troubleshoot equipment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted events.
• Equipment Setup & Breakdown: Install, configure, test, and dismantle AV equipment according to event requirements and schedules.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of AV equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
• System Monitoring: Monitor audio, video, lighting, and presentation systems during events and make adjustments as required.
• Equipment & Inventory Management: Maintain proper records of AV equipment, tools, cables, and accessories, and ensure all equipment is stored safely after use.
• Guest & Team Support: Work closely with guests, event organizers, and hotel departments to understand their AV requirements and provide technical support.
• Documentation: Record maintenance activities, equipment issues, repairs, and any technical problems requiring further attention.

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications

• Familiar with the operation principle and fault judgment method of large data centre infrastructure (power supply, air conditioning, fire control, security, monitoring, network, etc.).
• Willing to be engaged in the monitoring post for day shift and night shift for a long period, and have enough time to study.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, professionalism, and learning ability.
• Active and motivated in work, with a good sense of service.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work independently.
