Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead architectural design concepts and construction documents.
• Review and validate designs, drawings, specs, and submissions for code compliance.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Prepare and manage BIM/Revit models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct design reviews, clash detection, and coordination meetings.

Job Type: An experienced Architectural Engineer responsible for architectural design, technical reviews, BIM/Revit coordination, and ensuring compliance with Saudi Building Codes and Civil Defense regulations across building and infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Engineer with a strong background in architectural design, technical review, BIM implementation, and project delivery within the Saudi Arabian market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and coordinating architectural designs while ensuring compliance with Saudi Building Codes (SBC) and Civil Defense regulations.

Experience: 8-10 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and lead architectural design concepts, design development, and construction documentation.
• Review and validate architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
• Prepare and manage BIM/Revit models throughout project lifecycle.
• Conduct design reviews, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), Municipality regulations, and Saudi Civil Defense requirements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and technical proposals.
• Support authority submissions and approval processes.
• Provide technical guidance during construction and resolve design-related issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in architectural engineering.
• Proven experience in the Saudi Arabian market.
• Expertise in designing and reviewing architectural projects across concept, detailed design, and construction stages.
• Advanced proficiency in BIM/Revit.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Codes (SBC) and Civil Defense regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary design coordination and technical reviews.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Mandatory Requirement

• Submission of a portfolio showcasing architectural design and review experience, BIM/Revit expertise, and completed projects within Saudi Arabia.
