Job summary

Proger is hiring an Architectural Engineer for its Riyadh, Saudi Arabia branch. The role focuses on planning, designing, and supervising architectural projects to meet technical, aesthetic, and regulatory standards.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, prepare design documentation, and ensure alignment with project objectives and schedules. The candidate will develop drawings, review submittals, supervise site work, and ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering (master’s degree preferred).
• Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion and related tools.
• Adequate knowledge of Saudi building codes and regulations.
• Excellent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
• Saudi National is a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings and technical designs per project specs and Saudi codes.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for planning, design coordination and project management.
• Review design documents, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Supervise on-site to ensure compliance with designs, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to resolve issues.
• Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and resource planning.
• Prepare progress reports and technical presentations for management and clients.
• Ensure all work complies with SCE regulations and authority requirements.
• Support sustainable and efficient building design development.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and draftsmen.

About the Role

The Architectural Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and supervising architectural projects to ensure technical accuracy, aesthetic quality, and compliance with local regulations. The role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams, preparing design documentation, following up on project execution, and ensuring that all work aligns with the project objectives, standards, and schedules.

Develop architectural drawings and technical designs in accordance with project specifications and Saudi building codes.

Participate in planning, design coordination, and project management activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery.

Review and validate design documents, shop drawings, and material submittals.

Supervise on-site implementation to ensure compliance with approved designs, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to resolve design and construction issues.

Assist in project budgeting, cost estimation, and resource planning.

Prepare progress reports, documentation, and technical presentations for management and clients.

Ensure all architectural work complies with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) regulations and relevant authority requirements.

Support the development of sustainable and efficient building designs.

Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and draftsmen.
