Job summary

Metichem is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to support customers across assigned accounts, delivering advanced water treatment solutions and ensuring consistent application of service standards.

You will conduct site visits, sampling, and evaluations; optimize chemical dosages and system settings; prepare technical reports and collaborate with Sales Engineers to strengthen relationships and sustain performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a technical service or water treatment role.
• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in water treatment chemistry, including wastewater treatment, cooling water systems, and boiler water treatment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for assigned customer accounts, ensuring effective water treatment solutions.
• Conduct customer site visits, sampling, and field evaluations to monitor treatment performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Optimize treatment programs by adjusting chemical dosages, flow rates, and equipment settings.
• Advise clients on system upgrades, product improvements, and process optimization to enhance plant performance.
• Participate in design reviews, new application start-ups, and performance evaluations.
• Supervise chemical cleaning and disinfection operations, ensuring safe and effective execution.
• Prepare technical reports, analyze sampling results, and recommend corrective actions to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor on-site chemical inventories and coordinate purchase orders and timely deliveries.
• Maintain laboratory and field analysis equipment and ensure accurate testing records and reports.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers to strengthen customer relationships, improve service quality, and support business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company QHSSE policies, Product Stewardship requirements, and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.

About the Role

To provide technical services and problem-solving support to customers regarding Metichem's products, applications, and solutions across assigned customer accounts. The role is responsible for ensuring the consistent implementation of Metichem's service standards across all client sites.
