Alfaisal University in الرياض is seeking an Alumni Relations Officer to support and coordinate alumni engagement initiatives on site in Riyadh. The role focuses on promoting alumni programs, events, and career opportunities while building strong ties with students, faculty, and external partners.

The officer will manage alumni data, assist with internships, workshops, and career expos, and contribute to a robust alumni platform that enhances networking and lifelong engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field and minimum two years' experience in HR, PR, or related areas.

Responsibilities

• Supports and coordinates in managing and promoting Alumni Relations programs.
• Contributes to development and success of alumni job allocation, training, mentoring, and supporting graduates.
• Communicates with Student Affairs and student groups to implement student-alumni programs.
• Ensures alumni data are recorded in the Alumni & Placement Relations database and kept up to date.
• Coordinates and attends events, meetings, or activities such as career expos, CSR events, reunions.
• Develops approaches to interact with stakeholders on web and media platforms (alumni homepage, online platform, social media).
• Produces content for alumni communications (e-newsletters, e-blasts, online platform).
• Supports colleges in internships, workshops, and lecture series to enhance alumni professionalism.
• Ensures the online portal for Alfaisal Alumni & Placement Relations optimizes networking and tracking.
• Performs broad prospect research for fundraising, training, and employment collaboration.
• Produces bios and wealth indicators for senior administration for fundraising.
• Stays informed of social trends and relays information consistently.
• Prepares reports and analysis including rosters, industry/QA statistics and post-event recommendations.
• Ensures Alfaisal Ambassadors align with the university brand for engagement and support.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Supports and coordinates in managing & promoting Alumni Relations programs.


• Contributes to the development and success of new alumni job allocation, training, mentoring, and supporting graduates throughout their career paths.


• Communicates with the Student Affairs Department and student groups to implement the student-alumni programs.


• Ensures that alumni data are appropriately recorded in the Alumni & Placement Relations database and collaborates with other officers in the department to ensure that data classification is completely updated/maintained.


• Coordinates and attends events, meetings, or other activities as requested by the line manager including career expos, CSR events, reunions, etc.


• Determines new approaches to interact with stakeholders on web and new media platforms such as alumni homepage, alumni online platform, presence on the internet, social and digital media, video projects, virtual tours, live chats, and new apps.


• Provides in the content for many different uses within communication portfolios such as alumni e-newsletter, alumni e-blasts, and online alumni platform, etc. to engage alumni members.


• Works closely with and supports academic colleges in internships, workshops, and lecture series, which will result in more capable/professional alumni.


• Ensures the success and progression of Alfaisal Alumni & Placement Relation’s online portal to a maximum level of networking, tracking, and communication with alumni.


• Conducts broad-based prospect research such as demographics and industry sector for fundraising, training, and employment and collaboration purposes.


• Produces research profiles, bios, wealth indicators for senior administration for fundraising purposes.


• Stays informed of social and industry trends and relays this information in a concerted fashion.


• Conducts reports and analysis, e.g., alumni rosters, industry reports, BOT reports, QA Statistics & reports, etc. to reflect relevant data gathering and analysis and post-event reports and recommendations.


• Ensures that the Alfaisal Ambassadors (alumni) are in-line with the Alfaisal University’s brand to facilitate engagement and attract supporters.


• Updates and organizes electronic database directory for emailing, calling to be easily accessible and utilized.


• Maintains filing and office records accurately.


• Performs all duties in a professional, competent, and confidential manner.


• Performs all other related duties as required or assigned by the manager.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent from an accredited institute.


• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in Human Resources, Public Relations, or related fields (Desirable).
