Job summary

BAE Systems is seeking a qualified Specialist Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the RSAF Typhoon Flying programme in Taif. The role focuses on maintaining aircraft documentation, ensuring airworthiness, and complying with RSAF regulations and BAE Systems framework.

You will work under Trade Supervisors and manage line management communications to deliver safe, reliable flight line services. Candidate must have 3+ years post-qualification maintenance experience in a flying environment or 3

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-qualification maintenance experience in operational flying aircraft environment or 3 years on same aircraft type
• NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent
• Typhoon Weapons Q Course completion
• Knowledge of human factors, safety, and proactive hazard analysis
• Saudi Council of Engineers registration (SCE) would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Carry out Specialist Trade maintenance activities or flight line duties as directed
• Ensure continuing airworthiness and maintenance in accordance with approved data and regulations
• Ensure all engineering activity is within delegated Engineering Authority
• Maintain high standards of documentation and data for aircraft engineering and servicing
• Follow safety practices and RSAF and BAE Systems procedures to mitigate risks
• Perform post maintenance reviews to return aircraft, tools, and equipment to required condition
• Support RSAF Safety program and FOD program and raise required safety forms
• Maintain good communication with line management and AGF staff
• Manage personal administration and timesheets as required by policy
• Ensure understanding and adherence to Safety and Quality Management System
