Job summary

Riyadh Air seeks Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) with a minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience to join our Engineering team in Riyadh. You will perform maintenance, inspections, defect rectification, modifications, troubleshooting and certification on our Boeing 787 and Airbus A321 fleets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent.
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (GACA/EASA/CAA).
• Level III training for Boeing 787 and/or Airbus A320 (practical and theoretical).
• Logbook of the last 5 years of maintenance, stamped by QA.
• Recency letters from current and previous employers describing scope and duration, stamped by QA.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, defect rectification, modifications, troubleshooting and certification on Boeing 787 and Airbus A321 fleets.
• Carry out and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft systems, structures, cabin interiors, avionics, engines and components.
• Lead and coach maintenance personnel; support line maintenance operations.
• Promote a Just Culture and ensure incident reporting through Safety Management System.

This opportunity is open to qualified engineers from the following disciplines:

• Airframe and Powerplant (B1)
• Avionics (B2)
• Cabin
• Structures

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, defect rectification, modifications, troubleshooting, and certification activities on our Boeing 787 and Airbus 321 fleet as required. You will ensure all work is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements, company procedures, and approved manufacturer documentation.

Depending on your licence category and area of expertise, you will carry out and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on aircraft systems, structures, cabin interiors, avionics equipment, engines, and components. You will play a critical role in ensuring aircraft airworthiness and operational readiness while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

With a natural ability to lead in a fast-paced operational environment, you will supervise and coach maintenance personnel, support line maintenance operations, and contribute to minimizing aircraft downtime. You will also actively promote a Just Culture and ensure all incidents and occurrences are reported through the Safety Management System.

About You

You hold a Diploma, Certificate or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance qualification and have a minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience, including recent certifying experience within your licence category.

The following mandatory documents are required and must be uploaded as part of your application:

• Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering or equivalent
• Valid GACA / EASA or other CAA Aircraft Maintenance License
• Boeing 787 and/or Airbus A320 Level III Type training (practical and theoretical)
• Last five (5) years aircraft maintenance experience records (logbook) stamped and signed by MRO/Operator Quality Assurance department.
• Recency letter from current (and previous employers if applicable) outlining scope of work and work duration, stamped and signed by Maintenance Repair Organisations (MRO) Quality Assurance Department
• Current and previous Certification Authorisations issued by Operators and/or MROs
