Job summary

Riyadh Air seeks experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) to join our Engineering team in Riyadh. You will perform maintenance, inspections, defect rectification, and modifications on our Boeing 787 and Airbus A321 fleets, ensuring compliance with regulations and manufacturer documentation.

You will lead and coach maintenance personnel in a fast-paced environment, promote a Just Culture, and ensure airworthiness and safety across all operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in aircraft maintenance or equivalent.
• Valid AM license (GACA/EASA or other CAA) required.
• B787 and/or A320 Level III training (practical and theoretical).
• Last 5 years of maintenance records stamped and signed by QA.
• Recency letters from current and previous employers.
• Current and previous Certification Authorisations issued by Operators/MROs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, inspections, defect rectification and modifications.
• Carry out troubleshooting and certify activities.
• Ensure work complies with regulatory requirements and manufacturer documentation.

Are you passionate about aircraft maintenance and committed to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and technical excellence? We are seeking experienced Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) to join our Engineering team.

This opportunity is open to qualified engineers from the following disciplines:

• Airframe and Powerplant (B1)
• Avionics (B2)
• Cabin
• Structures

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, defect rectification, modifications, troubleshooting, and certification activities on our Boeing 787 and Airbus 321 fleet as required. You will ensure all work is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements, company procedures, and approved manufacturer documentation.

Depending on your licence category and area of expertise, you will carry out and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on aircraft systems, structures, cabin interiors, avionics equipment, engines, and components. You will play a critical role in ensuring aircraft airworthiness and operational readiness while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

With a natural ability to lead in a fast‑paced operational environment, you will supervise and coach maintenance personnel, support line maintenance operations, and contribute to minimizing aircraft downtime. You will also actively promote a Just Culture and ensure all incidents and occurrences are reported through the Safety Management System.

About You

You hold a Diploma, Certificate or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance qualification and have a minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience, including recent certifying experience within your licence category.

The following mandatory documents are required and must be uploaded as part of your application:

• Diploma/Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance, Engineering or equivalent
• Valid GACA / EASA or other CAA Aircraft Maintenance License
• Boeing 787 and/or Airbus A320 Level III Type training (practical and theoretical)
• Last five (5) years aircraft maintenance experience records (logbook) stamped and signed by MRO/Operator Quality Assurance department.
• Recency letter from current (and previous employers if applicable) outlining scope of work and work duration, stamped and signed by Maintenance Repair Organisations (MRO) Quality Assurance Department
• Current and previous Certification Authorisations issued by Operators and/or MROs
