Job summary

lumalabs-ai is seeking a Forward Deployed Creative to bridge creativity and AI-driven production for top brands. You will write the playbook, architect new workflows, and craft high-craft content with Dream Machine to redefine visual storytelling.

You will collaborate with Product, Partnerships, and Sales to translate capabilities into opportunities and help shape the company's roadmap for generative video. A strong portfolio and leadership in fast-paced environments are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in a role like Creative Technologist, Technical Director, or a similar client-facing, senior creative position.
• Outstanding portfolio of shipped, high-craft creative work that demonstrates exceptional taste and storytelling ability.
• A "builder" and "pioneer" who creates new things from scratch in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Deep expertise in creative production pipelines (VFX, animation, motion graphics, or production) and the ability to design and implement new workflows.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to act as a strategic consultant to senior creative and business leaders.
• A genuine passion for the creative potential of AI and our mission to expand human imagination.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the world's leading brands and creative agencies, acting as their trusted creative and strategic guide to generative AI.
• Architect and prototype AI-accelerated production workflows, helping partners move faster and level up storytelling.
• Create hands-on, high-craft content using Dream Machine and set the bar for what's possible.
• Consult with partner leadership, translating complex technical capabilities into tangible creative and business opportunities.
• Collaborate internally as an on-the-ground extension of Product, Partnership, and Sales teams to shape roadmaps.
• Build the foundation for the Forward Deployed Creative function by setting the tone and playbook for partner engagement.
• Educate and inspire the creative community, acting as a key evangelist for Luma and generative video.
