Job summary

Scale AI is building a foundational regional team in the Gulf to deliver AI-powered solutions for Saudi government clients. As Engineering Manager, you will bridge engineering leadership with direct client engagement, guiding end-to-end architecture, delivery, and production-grade AI features.

You will lead a cross-functional team, shipping high-quality products in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with product, government partners, and Go-To-Market stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with AI/ML
• 3+ years of engineering leadership experience
• Hands-on experience building and deploying ML models and LLM apps
• Proficient full-stack skills across backend, APIs, pipelines, and frontend
• Experience engaging with government or enterprise clients
• Experience designing scalable APIs and integrations

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers delivering AI-powered applications for KSA government clients.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for KSA government stakeholders.
• Design, build, and optimize full stack AI applications end-to-end.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML solutions including LLM-powered features.
• Build and maintain robust API integrations with government systems.
• Partner with product/go-to-market and government counterparts to define requirements and drive delivery.
• Represent Scale in client-facing workshops, demos, and executive briefings with KSA government agencies.
• Manage the full product lifecycle across multiple workstreams.
• Inspire, mentor, and grow engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and customer focus.
• Influence team culture, engineering processes, and best practices as a senior leader.
