Job summary

Bupa Arabia is seeking a hands-on actuarial professional to deliver production work across reserving, regulatory reporting, pricing support and analytics. You will operate cycles, extract and reconcile data, and run model results under guidance to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

This role nurtures foundational actuarial development—progressing exams, building technical craft, and learning cross-functional contexts while preparing for a potential Manager position within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial science, or Mathematics.
• Progress foundational actuarial exams (SOA / IFoA / CAS) on the Company-supported pathway.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Extract, clean and reconcile claims, premium and exposure data for reserving cycle.
• Run triangulations, basic development factor calculations and link-ratio analyses under Manager direction.
• Execute reserving model runs (IBNR, URR, LRC, LIC, risk adjustment) per approved methodology.
• Populate reserving pack sections, movement tables and supporting schedules.
• Flag data anomalies, outliers and unusual patterns for review.
• Populating SAMA, CMA and other regulatory submissions and reconciliation tasks.
• Refresh operations dashboards and conduct claims analytics including cost and utilization metrics.
• Develop models in SAS, Python, R, SQL and Excel; automate recurring tasks.
