Job summary

Talent Blueprint FZ LLC in Riyadh seeks an Activations Manager to supervise planning and execution of fan and sponsor activations for a major continental event. This freelance assignment runs from 22 October to 26 December 2026 in Riyadh, with on-site responsibilities and close collaboration with event operations and sponsors.

Qualifications

• Strong budgeting, procurement, and cost control experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with large-scale activations or event villages is desirable.
• Fluent English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the activation delivery plan including concepts, layouts, production requirements, content, schedules, and installation timelines.
• Coordinate with sponsors, rights holders, agencies, production teams, contractors and suppliers to meet objectives and brand guidelines.
• Oversee activation spaces: infrastructure, branding, signage, interactive experiences and facilities.
• Manage activation budgets, procurement, supplier deliverables and resources to meet timelines and costs.
• Lead on-site installation, readiness checks, daily operations, maintenance, and dismantling.
• Ensure activations comply with event standards, health and safety requirements and venue regulations.
• Monitor performance and resolve operational challenges to maintain visitor experience quality.
• Collaborate with event operations and other teams on access, logistics, scheduling, and site-wide needs.
• Provide regular progress updates, highlight risks, and maintain documentation during the activation period.

Role Overview

The Activations Manager will oversee the planning and execution of fan and sponsor activations, coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure all activities are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the overall activation delivery plan, including concepts, layouts, production requirements, content, operational schedules, and installation timelines.
• Coordinate with sponsors, rights holders, creative agencies, production teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure activations meet agreed objectives and brand guidelines.
• Oversee the planning and delivery of activation spaces, including infrastructure, branding, signage, interactive experiences, and supporting facilities.
• Manage activation budgets, procurement requirements, supplier deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure delivery within approved timelines and costs.
• Lead on-site installation, testing, readiness checks, daily operations, maintenance coordination, and dismantling.
• Ensure all activations comply with event standards, health and safety requirements, operational procedures, and relevant venue regulations.
• Monitor activation performance and resolve operational challenges promptly to maintain quality and ensure a seamless visitor experience.
• Work closely with event operations and other functional teams to coordinate access, logistics, scheduling, and site-wide requirements.
• Provide regular progress updates, highlight risks, and maintain clear documentation throughout the activation delivery period.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and delivering large-scale activations, fan zones, sponsor experiences, or event village environments, preferably within major international sporting events.
• Experience working within multi-sport events or complex event environments involving multiple sponsors, rights holders, and operational stakeholders is highly desirable.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple activations simultaneously and manage demanding build and delivery schedules.
• Demonstrated experience in supplier management, production coordination, budget control, and on-site delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and external partners.
• Highly organized, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Must be available for the full freelance assignment from 22 October to 26 December 2026, based in Riyadh.
