Job summary

OMODA & JAECOO in Riyadh seeks a local SA Accounts Payable Accountant with at least 3 years of AP experience in automotive or consumer appliance sectors. Based at our head office, you will reconcile AP ledgers, process invoices, manage fixed assets, and support month-end close while ensuring IFRS compliance. Proficiency in SAP and bilingual English-Arabic communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable.
• IFRS knowledge preferred.
• SAP experience is an advantage.

About the Role

We are looking for a local SA Accounts Payable Accountant for our head office in Riyadh with minimum of 3 years experience preferred at automotive or appliance companies.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
• Process and verify invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage fixed asset accounts and oversee depreciation schedules
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Maintain vendor accounts and resolve any discrepancies
• Support month-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable (experience in the automotive or home appliances industry is preferred)
• Working knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS preferred)
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to engage professionally with vendors and internal teams
