Job summary

Four Seasons AMAALA in Saudi Arabia is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records in line with company policies.

You will lead month‑end and year‑end closes, review transactions and reconciliations, assist with audits, and coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies, while maintaining confidentiality. English fluency is required and Arabic is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounting or Finance with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
• Fluent English; Arabic language skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Monitor accounts payable/receivable and month-end close processes.
• Support audits and maintain proper documentation of financial records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.
• Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of financial controls.

About the location:

AMAALA is situated along Saudi Arabia's northwest coast and is home to some of the most diverse natural environments. The Role of the Accounting Supervisor

As an Accounting Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance team by overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with company policies, supporting financial reporting processes, and contributing to the efficient operation of the Finance department.

What You Will Do

• Supervise daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Review accounting transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records.
• Assist with audits and provide required financial information and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and inquiries.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of financial controls and processes.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in Accounting or Finance, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a must.
