Job summary

Otis Elevator Company Saudi Arabia Ltd is seeking a seasoned Finance Leader to oversee the R2R function. You will drive monthly closings, ensure accurate financial statements, manage the general ledger, and uphold internal controls across the organization.

You will mentor the R2R team, drive process improvements and automation, and coordinate with FP&A, AP, AR, Tax, and business units to provide insightful financial analysis for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing financial accounting functions.
• At least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
• Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• Relevant certification such as CMA or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate policies; support audits.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the R2R team and monitor SLA adherence.
• Identify opportunities for automation and standardization of R2R processes.
• Collaborate with FP&A, AP, AR, Tax, and business units; advise finance leadership.
• Manage intercompany transactions and support group consolidation.

Role Overview:

The role holder is responsible for managing the accounting function within the Otis ME entities with guidance from the management, for ensuring the effective management and implementation of accounting policies as per approved guidelines. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Close & Reporting

Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements

Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments

Analyze variances (actual vs budget/forecast/prior periods)

2. General Ledger Management

Oversee general ledger activities and ensure data integrity

Review reconciliations (balance sheet accounts, intercompany, etc.)

Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP)

3. Compliance & Controls

Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate policies

Support audits (internal and external) with required documentation

Maintain strong governance over financial reporting processes

4. Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the R2R team

Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure SLA adherence

Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

5. Process Improvement & Transformation

Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency

Drive standardization and best practices across R2R processes

Participate in ERP/system implementations or enhancements

6. Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with FP&A, AP, AR, Tax, and business units

Act as key point of contact for finance leadership

Provide insights and financial analysis to support decision-making

7. Intercompany & Consolidation

Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations

Support group consolidation activities where applicable

Minimum Qualifications:
