Job summary

Jobskey Search and Selection seeks an experienced Accounts Payable specialist to manage invoices, expenses, and supplier payments. The role ensures VAT and tax compliance, accurate vendor data in ERP, and timely reconciliations with the General Ledger.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, employee expense claims, and supplier advances.
• Ensure invoices comply with contractual terms, tax laws (VAT) and internal policies.
• Schedule and execute payments in line with agreed terms and cash flow.
• Maintain accurate vendor master data in ERP systems.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support negotiations on payment terms with procurement and finance.
• Reconcile accounts payable balances with vendors and the General Ledger.
• Prepare aging reports and monitor overdue payables.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and tax regulations.
• Maintain VAT reporting and withholding tax compliance.
• Maintain documentation for audits.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, GL & Tax teams for accurate expense recognition.
• Provide guidance to junior accountants in AP team.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting of AP-related expenses.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes, automation, and efficiency.
• Support ERP upgrades and digitalization initiatives in AP.
• Maintain and validate contract records for accuracy.
