Job Purpose

To perform daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records in accordance with accounting principles and company policies. The accountant is responsible for preparing financial reports that support management in making informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Record all financial transactions accurately and on time in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and review journal entries.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable and reconcile balances.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement).
  • Verify invoices and supporting documents for compliance with internal policies.
  • Participate in the preparation of tax reports and other statutory financial obligations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audit processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information and accounting records.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Finance Department.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Diploma in accounting or a related field.
Experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting
Skills
  • Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, ERP systems).
