Key accountabilities

Responsibilities

• Pass GL entries and maintain Trial Balance; prepare financial statements using ERP system to support audit file.
• Prepare and submit quarterly and yearly GST/VAT submissions; maintain awareness of KSA tax law.
• Prepare tax schedules, apply basic tax rules for returns and reports.
• Determine appropriate procedures for accounting records; research transactions and report.
• Reconcile daily collection receipts.
• Compile and prepare entries to General Ledger accounts.
• Document accounting transactions using procedures defined by internal & external stakeholders.
Assist external audit preparation, discussion, and support to finance manager & auditor.
• Apply financial policies and procedures; report inconsistencies and problems to management.
• Perform additional projects as assigned.

Required Experience

• Educated to Accounting degree or equivalent AUC or “English Section”
• ERP, financial application experience is a must.
• Excellent Excel skill is a must.
• Experience in accounting practices and principles.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing and taxation.
