Job summary

GT Medical in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Accountant to join our growing team. You will maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, process supplier invoices, and assist with IFRS-compliant financial statements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, is an active SOCPA member, and has at least 2 years of accounting experience. Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Active membership in SOCPA (Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants).
• At least 2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Experience using ERP systems for accounting and financial transactions.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly.
• Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and liquidity projections.
• Support audits to ensure IFRS compliance and policy adherence.
• Process travel and expense claims per company guidelines.
• Assist in preparing IFRS-compliant financial statements.

What You Will Do:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
• Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable in a timely manner.
• Prepare accurate cash flow forecasts for cash inflows and outflows and ensure timely submission of liquidity forecasts.
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
• Process travel and expense claims promptly while ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
• Participate in preparing financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Active membership in the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting.
• Experience using ERP systems for accounting and financial transactions.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation procedures.
