Job Description

The purpose of this role is to build strong relationships with clients and to support senior leadership to drive and deliver on a client’s public relations strategy. Oversees the development of plans, proposals, reports, creative briefs and other communication deliverables. The PR Account Director is a leadership role and responsible for people development. Works collaboratively across the agency and within the Dentsu business to ensure clients receive the best integrated public relations and communications solutions for their business.

Key Responsibilities

• Works with peers to ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organisation's strategic vision
• Develops and implements social media strategies
• Works with media outlets to publish timely company information including press releases, though leadership and other materials
• Helps drive external awareness through proactively pitching stories positioning the organisation, senior leadership and other industry leaders as experts on specific topics
• Develops and maintains strong ties with the media to help generate visible opportunities
