Core Activity:

• TheInstructor/Assessor will deliver a range of training modules, across theVocational Training Program.The Instructor/Assessorwill assess learner performance, in accordance with the assessment strategy inforce for the modules.Assessment oflearners may take place from within or outside of their trade boundary, to allowfor independence.
• As a vocational instructor, you will becrucial in delivering high-quality vocational training programs to studentsenrolled in short courses at QTI and supporting the speciality and generalengineering teams as required, mainly focusing on general engineering andspecialty short courses or other contracted courses at QTI.
• You will facilitate learning experiences thatpromote student engagement, comprehension, and skill development. Emphasisingcontinuous improvement, you will actively contribute to enhancing teachingmaterials and methodologies to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

• Deliverengaging and informative vocational training sessions in accordance with coursecurriculum and learning objectives.
• Serveas Subject Matter Expert (SME) for vocational courses and other contractedcourses, ensuring accurate and up-to-date content delivery.
• Developand update teaching materials, including lesson plans, presentations, handouts,and assessments, to enhance student learning and interaction.
• Developand utilize modern teaching methodologies and technologies to create dynamicand interactive learning experiences.
• Workclosely with instructional teams to integrate instructional strategies andfeedback into the development process.
• Provideconstructive feedback and support to students to facilitate their learningprogress and achievement of learning outcomes.
• Fostera positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to student growth anddevelopment.
• Collaboratewith colleagues and stakeholders to continuously improve course content,delivery methods, and assessment strategies.
• Stayinformed about industry trends, advancements, and best practices in vocationaleducation to incorporate relevant content into teaching materials andmethodologies.
• Participatein professional development activities to enhance teaching skills andexpertise.
• Ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards in vocationaleducation delivery.

Requirements
