Job summary

IBIS is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hotel bar team in Qatar. You will prepare and serve beverages to hotel standards, while ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. You will actively upsell drinks, share product knowledge with guests and provide personalized service.

The role requires 1–2 years of hotel/bar experience, knowledge of mixology and beverage trends, and strong communication skills. A hospitality mindset and ability to perform under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a bartender in a hotel or upscale bar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages according to hotel standards.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation and quality of drinks.
• Suggest and upsell beverages to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Provide personalized service and engage guests with product knowledge.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control.
• Follow cash handling procedures and ensure accurate billing.
• Adhere to local laws and hotel policies regarding alcohol service.
• Maintain HACCP and hygiene standards at all times.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards.
