Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and proper mixing techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of local alcohol laws and responsible service requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and cash handling.
• Ability to upsell and promote specials to boost sales.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages following recipes or creating unique drinks.
• Provide excellent customer service, greet patrons, take orders, and engage professionally.
• Understand drinks, recommend options based on preferences, and maintain quality.
• Keep bar clean, organized, stocked, and manage inventory as needed.
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and reconcile cash at shift end.
• Comply with alcohol service regulations, verify IDs, and refuse service when needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when stock is low.
• Perform routine maintenance like cleaning lines, changing kegs, and troubleshooting.
• Upsell by promoting specials and new drinks to increase sales.
• Collaborate with bar staff, servers, and kitchen to coordinate orders.
