Job summary

Best Plaza West Bay Hotel in Doha is seeking a full-time bartender who creates a welcoming atmosphere, serves drinks to high standards, and acts as a local ambassador for our exciting hotel bar.

You will stock and maintain the bar, handle cash transactions, work with restaurant colleagues, and be ready for flexible night, weekend, and holiday shifts while complying with local laws and health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing a wide range of drinks.
• Formal bartending training preferred.
• Ability to work flexible night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Good reading, writing and basic maths skills.
• Fluent in local language and compliant with local laws.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Prepare and serve drinks to high standards and highlight promotions.
• Collaborate with restaurant colleagues for seamless food service.
• Set up bar, stock supplies, manage inventory and ensure equipment works.
• Change beer barrels and keep the bar clean and secure.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Wear the uniform with pride and maintain a professional appearance.
• Be prepared for ad-hoc duties as needed.
• Follow safety procedures.
