Job summary

Recruit for Africa PTY Limited is seeking skilled Bartenders to join luxury five-star hotel venues across Qatar. You will craft exceptional drinks, deliver world-class service, and represent the sophistication of premium hospitality in elegant hotel bars and lounges.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of bartending experience, strong mixology knowledge, and a professional demeanor. Accommodation, medical insurance, and flight benefits are provided as part of a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of bartending experience in luxury hotels, fine-dining restaurants, or premium lounges.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mixology, garnishing, and beverage pairing. Ability to operate POS systems and manage cash transactions accurately.
• Personality: Charismatic, confident, and guest-focused with a natural flair for hospitality.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, excellent multitasking ability, and composure under pressure.
• Communication: Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Passport validity: passport valid for at least 2 more years
• Medical and background: clear medical bill and no criminal record

Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, ensuring every interaction reflects five-star standards.
• Mixology Expertise: Prepare and present classic and signature cocktails with precision, flair, and consistency.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain deep understanding of spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. Offer recommendations tailored to guest preferences.
• Bar Operations: Manage daily bar setup, stock rotation, and cleanliness. Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
• Upselling & Revenue: Promote premium products and signature drinks to enhance guest experience and maximize sales.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with barbacks, servers, and management to ensure seamless service flow.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimize wastage through accurate portioning and record-keeping.
• Presentation Standards: Maintain immaculate grooming and uniform standards, reflecting the prestige of a five-star environment.
