Job summary

QAFCO (Qatar Fertiliser Company) in Mesaieed, Qatar is seeking an experienced Turnaround Planner to optimize schedules and budgets for major plant turnarounds. You will develop scope of work for rotating machines and coordinate with maintenance, technical teams, and contractors to ensure safe, timely execution.

This role requires deep knowledge of turbines, compressors and gearboxes, plus experience with SAP and Primavera for planning and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with mechanical engineering focus.
• Minimum of 5 years in similar roles, preferably in fertilizer industries.
• Strong understanding of rotating machinery and maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor execution strategy for Turnaround scope with detailed scheduling.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure priorities and recovery actions.
• Ensure readiness of materials, manpower, tools, permits before execution.
• Maintain turnaround documentation and update SAP master data regularly.
