Job summary

NTU International is preparing a proposal for a project on Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The assignment seeks qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to join a pool for short-term mobilisations on demand during a 36-month implementation.

Experts will translate, interpret, and adapt multilingual communications, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural appropriateness.

Qualifications

• Degree in translation/interpretation or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Translating communication materials, reports, publications, presentations and other institutional documents.
• Providing interpretation services during meetings, workshops, conferences, webinars and stakeholder consultations.
• Ensuring linguistic accuracy, consistency and cultural appropriateness of translated content.
• Supporting the preparation and review of multilingual communication materials.
• Collaborating with communication teams to ensure clear and effective messaging across target audiences.
• Assisting with terminology management and maintaining consistency across project documentation.
• Supporting multilingual communication during project events and outreach activities.

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf”.

In this context, NTU International is establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (36 months).

The overall objective of this assignment is to provide strategic, technical and logistical communication support to DG MENA in the planning, development and implementation of its day-to-day communication activities, with the aim of strengthening the visibility, outreach and impact of the European Union\'s policies, initiatives and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf region.

Responsibilities

• Translating communication materials, reports, publications, presentations and other institutional documents.

Minimum Qualification and Skills

• Degree in translation/interpretation or equivalent qualification;
• Native/near-native proficiency in target language, fluent English source.

Minimum General and Specific Professional Experience

• 2 years\' general experience in translation/interpretation;
• 1 year specific experience with communication/institutional content.
