Job summary

NTU International is assembling a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis for a DG MENA outreach project. The assignment covers drafting content for websites, press materials, social posts and video scripts, with collaboration from design and AV teams.

Successful candidates will have a degree in journalism/communication/languages and relevant experience, including content adaptation to EU guidelines and multilingual communication

Qualifications

• Degree in journalism, communication or languages is required.
• 2 years' general experience in copywriting/journalistic writing.
• 1 year specific experience drafting communication content (articles, scripts, social posts).

Responsibilities

• Drafting engaging communication content for websites, newsletters, articles, press materials and social media platforms.
• Writing scripts for videos, podcasts, interviews and other audio-visual communication products.
• Developing campaign messages and storytelling content tailored to different audiences and communication channels.
• Editing and proofreading communication materials to ensure clarity, consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborating with communication specialists, graphic designers and audio-visual teams to produce integrated communication products.
• Adapting content for digital platforms while ensuring compliance with EU editorial and communication guidelines.
• Supporting the preparation of speeches, briefing notes, key messages and promotional materials.
• Contributing to the development of communication campaigns and outreach activities.

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf”.

NTU International is establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (36 months).

overall objective of this assignment is to provide strategic, technical and logistical communication support to DG MENA in the planning, development and implementation of its day-to-day communication activities, with the aim of strengthening the visibility, outreach and impact of the European Union's policies, initiatives and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf region.

Responsibilities

• Drafting engaging communication content for websites, newsletters, articles, press materials and social media platforms.

Minimum Qualification and Skills

• Degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication or languages;
• French and/or Arabic an asset.

Minimum General and Specific Professional Experience

• 2 years' general experience in copywriting/journalistic writing;
• 1 year specific experience drafting communication content (articles, scripts, social posts).
