Job summary

NTU International is seeking a Junior Non-Key Expert - Photographer / Photo Editor to support DG MENA on communications projects in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role involves capturing high-quality images at conferences, workshops and official events.

You will edit and prepare photographs for websites and publications, manage image archives, and ensure compliance with EU branding and copyright guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Capturing high-quality photographs during conferences, workshops, press events, official visits and other communication activities.
• Producing visual content for websites, social media platforms, publications and promotional materials.
• Editing, retouching and optimising photographs for print and digital use.
• Managing image selection, cataloguing and archiving in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensuring all visual content complies with EU branding, communication and copyright guidelines.
• Working closely with communication teams to support storytelling and campaign objectives.
• Providing photographic coverage of high-level institutional events and stakeholder engagement activities.

NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf”.

In this context, NTU International is establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (36 months).

The overall objective of this assignment is to provide strategic, technical and logistical communication support to DG MENA in the planning, development and implementation of its day-to-day communication activities, with the aim of strengthening the visibility, outreach and impact of the European Union's policies, initiatives and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf region.

Junior Non-Key Expert - Photographer / Photo Editor

Responsibilities

• Capturing high-quality photographs during conferences, workshops, press events, official visits and other communication activities.

Minimum Qualification and Skills

• Professional training (or equivalent) in photography;

Minimum General and Specific Professional Experience

• 2 years' general experience in photography;
• 1 year specific experience in press/event/corporate photography.
