You will be leading a team focusing on the development and management of websites and applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will be performing technical leadership as well as playing a key role in Qatar Airways' cloud transformation and innovation initiatives. As an AEM Technical Lead, you will bridge the gap between high-level architecture and hands‑on engineering, ensuring the delivery of highly scalable, secure, and resilient digital experiences.
Provide architectural blueprints, diagrams, and technical leadership to the development team on the Adobe Experience Manager Sites platform.
Create high-level AEM solution specifications with close attention to system integration, performance, and feasibility.
Work closely with developers, architects, and business product owners to ensure an effective, intuitive, and high-quality implementation.
Ensure Adobe Experience Manager best practices are strictly followed, enforcing code quality gates so that no technical debt gets introduced during the project.
Mentor engineering teams and drive the adaptation of cloud innovations across different development streams using Adobe Cloud Manager.
Assist Product Owners by providing solution architecture, documenting technical assumptions, and delivering accurate effort estimations for upcoming features.
Design and implement robust external integrations (APIs, GraphQL, etc.) with AEM solutions while maintaining a deep understanding of security, risk, and compliance management processes.

High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent OR a Bachelor's degree with an overall experience of about 8+ years in developing and leading Ecommerce / Digital solutions for highly scalable, highly available systems.
Minimum 5+ years of hands‑on experience on AEM, with a proven track record of leading development teams in large‑scale enterprise environments.
Proven hands‑on experience executing AEM Cloud migrations, transforming legacy on‑premise or managed services architectures into modern AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) instances.
Expert‑level mastery of Adobe Cloud Manager for managing environments, repositories, configuring CI/CD pipeline automation, validating custom code through quality gates, and troubleshooting deployment failures.
Ability to execute cross‑platform designs across the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem (AEM, Target, and Analytics) to translate business requirements into headless, hybrid, and traditional WCM design patterns.
Deep understanding of AEM building blocks including templates, components, core components, touch UI dialogs, content fragments, experience fragments, and CUGs.
Comprehensive knowledge of headless CMS paradigms, designing content fragments, and building, optimizing, and exposing enterprise‑grade GraphQL schemas and queries.
Deep understanding of Sightly (HTL), Sling Models, JCR Queries, OSGi services, and components.
Direct experience with configurations within Adobe Experience Manager cloud services, setting up and configuring the AEM Dispatcher, and implementing SSO integrations.
Experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS), boilerplate structures, document-based authoring, and modern frontend integration tools like Adobe App Builder.
Advanced proficiency in Java, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML, XHTML, and client/server‑side technologies.
Strong experience in frontend scripting (JavaScript, JSP), web services (RESTful/SOAP), and modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular.
Experience in Java unit testing using Mockito, JUnit, etc., along with a solid grasp of caching, infrastructure setup, capacity planning, performance optimization, and load testing.
Good understanding of SEO, Web Accessibility (WCAG), and hands‑on experience identifying technology opportunities using modern Agile methodologies.
