Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services in Doha, Qatar seeks a senior engineering professional with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences or Mechanical Engineering to lead and supervise large-scale commissioning projects in the oil and gas sector.

The candidate should bring at least 10 years' experience across engineering, procurement and construction, including 2 years in supervisory or acting roles, and possess deep familiarity with centrifugal compressors, turbo-expanders, pumps, and related equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in applied sciences or mechanical engineering.
• 10 years' experience across engineering, procurement and construction in large-scale commissioning projects in oil and gas.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role, including acting roles or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
• Expertise with large (>20MW) industrial centrifugal compressors, turbo-expanders, hydraulic turbines, LNG submersible pumps, large API (>2MW) vertical pumps, API centrifugal pumps, rotary screw pumps and compressors, magnetic bearings, dry gas seals.
