Job summary

Visuna Ltd. invites applications for experienced Surface Well Testing (SWT) Supervisors and Chief Operators for an upcoming offshore project in Qatar. The roles require proven SWT expertise and offshore experience, with responsibilities spanning supervision, data collection, and HSE compliance.

The assignments run for 12 months with a rotation of 6 weeks on and 3 weeks off. Eligible candidates will have strong communication skills and the ability to work in demanding offshore environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as SWT Supervisor or SWT Chief Operator on offshore projects.
• Offshore Surface Well Testing experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of SWT equipment, procedures and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support offshore SWT operations.
• Ensure all activities follow approved procedures and safety standards.
• Oversee rig-up, well flow, shut-in, pressure build-up, sampling, cleanup and rig-down.
• Ensure SWT equipment is correctly installed, pressure tested and ready for operations.
• Monitor testing parameters and ensure accurate data collection.
• Coordinate with client reps, drilling/production teams and service providers.
• Maintain high HSE standards throughout operations.
• Troubleshoot and support safe, efficient SWT activities.

About the Roles

Visuna is currently recruiting experienced Surface Well Testing (SWT) Supervisors and Chief Operators for an upcoming long-term offshore project in Qatar.

We are seeking skilled professionals with strong technical expertise in Surface Well Testing operations and proven offshore experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support offshore Surface Well Testing operations.
• Ensure all well testing activities are conducted safely and efficiently in accordance with approved procedures.
• Oversee rig-up, well flow, shut-in, pressure build-up, sampling, well clean-up and rig-down activities.
• Ensure all surface well testing equipment is correctly installed, pressure tested and ready for operations.
• Monitor well testing parameters and ensure accurate data collection.
• Work closely with client representatives, drilling and production teams and other service providers.
• Maintain high standards of HSE compliance throughout operations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and support safe, efficient well testing activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as an SWT Supervisor or SWT Chief Operator .
• Previous offshore Surface Well Testing experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of surface well testing equipment, operations and procedures.
• Experience in well flowback, pressure control, well clean-up and testing operations.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in demanding offshore environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant offshore safety certifications are advantageous.
