Job summary

Client of EDI STAFFBUILDERS INTERNATIONAL INC (EDI) seeks a mechanical maintenance professional in Qatar to oversee overhauling works and ensure compliance with QHSE and schedule requirements. The role requires reading drawings, using measuring instruments, and coordinating with QA/QC and material teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in mechanical maintenance, strong lifting/rigging skills, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• Graduate diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently convey scope of work to team and assign daily tasks as per schedule.
• Follow FSE instructions and manage workload.
• Coordinate materials requirements with material coordinator.
• Coordinate with QA QC team for day to day requirements.
• Monitor material disposal and housekeeping.
• Preform job as per QHSE & Schedule requirements.
• Act as single focal person for complete overhauling works.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Efficiently convey scope of work to team and assign daily tasks to team as per schedule Follow FSE instructions and mange workload Reporting of progress to FSE Coordinate materials requirement with material coordinator Coordination with QA QC team for day to day requirements Lifting tools inspection certificates assurance before lifting Monitor material disposal and house keeping Tool box talk amp LMRA to conduct and maintain records Preform job as per QHSE amp Schedule requirements Acting as a single focal person for complete overhauling works Skill sets required Able to read the drawings amp Work packs Measuring instruments skillLaser Dial gauge alignment knowledge Rotating equipment like Fans Pumps Lifting amp Rigging skills Stacking of materials amp labelling Computer skillsProficient in English Communication skillsOil amp Gas Shutdown experience Manpower managementTools measuring instruments Spares managementQualifications Graduate Diploma nbsp in Mechanical5 to 10 years experience in mechanical maintenance
